    It will certainly be better built than the Vostro, but I guess it'd depend on you goal. The Z61t only has a four cell battery if that's an issue. The upgrades are expensive.

    Hey, thanks for the reply. Battery life is not a big issue. I am not a big gamer and all I really need one for is wireless, office docs, run a couple of virtual machines, low to mid level programming, and the occassional movie.

    Well, you should consider getting a better battery if you don't like to be plugged in most of the time. Wireless and stuff tend to kill your battery even quicker so you might want to look into a bigger capacity battery to not worry about being plugged in or not.
