This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is this covered by warranty?

    When opening/closing the palmrest/keyboard, sometimes the plastic is very hard to split open. If you force it you may break a tiny tiny plastic where it snaps. Would that be covered by warranty or not?

    I would say no.. depends if you have accidental coverage (cough dell user cough)..

    it would not be covered under standard or accidental protection.   i suggest watching the training video and learning the right way to do it or preparing your wallet to spend $80+ on a new one. ;)
