    The mSSD I'm looking at:

Amazon.com: SanDisk Extreme SSD 120GB GB SATA 6.0 Gb-s2.5-Inch Solid State Drive- SDSSDX-120G-G25: Computers & Accessories

That specific drive has great reviews and seems to be a very good gb/dollar ratio. Are there any better ones out there that you all know of?

I'm planning on using it as an OS/program drive in the WWAN slot and keeping my HDD in the main slot. I'm going to dual boot linux with win7 on the ssd, is there anything SSD-specific I should know? (I'm new to the SSD scene, but I don't think it'll be that different. Better safe than sorry, though.)

If you do suggest alternatives, I don't want to go too far below 100 GB, just because of the dual booting.

    Thanks so much!

ugg. My reading skills aren't as nice as they should be, that is actually a regular SATA drive. I want to keep my optical drive open, so I'm really only looking at msata.

    Welcome to Notebookreview. :)

Hopefully current t420, x220, etc. owners can let you know what they are running in their mSATA slots. It's insane how much SSD's have dropped in price over the last 2 years. My 128Gb ran me over $300 and has half the read speed of current SSD's.
