    Hi,
15 days back I received a SL410 Laptop but since day 1 looks it's battery has some issues. Well , when the battery is charged to full 100% and if it is completely turned off next day I see that battery is still showing 100 % for long time but as soon as I pull it from AC plug , it dips to 89 % or 94 % suddenly.
I was suggested to change the BIOS and it is properly set for "WAN Disable" now. Also with Windows 7 , my all the required devices in device managers are enabled for "Allow the computer to Turn-off this Device to save power".
Hope there is no alternative than returning it.

Also these days I see the Lenovo Tech. support doesn't have enough information to resolve your problems.
Can anyone suggest some good laptop for 600-700$. I am really fan of Thinkpad series which I been using for official purpose and hence I went for SL410 but was disappointed.

Why don't you just get the battery replaced?

I am not sure whether the issue is only with Battery becuase I saw that battery life seems very good. It gave me around 4 hrs. of consistent backup.

But it could have something to do with the internals of the battery, like the meter or something, I'm not sure, as I'm no expert with batteries.

    Have you called up Lenovo?

Yes I did and they asked me to take it to nearest Lenovo Store. Unfortunately I went there and that store was closed long back but address was still on Lenovo's website.
And I belive as battery charging and dis-charging happens as usual , it may not be it;s issue.
