I have a wireless Logitech mouse with a Unifying receiver. Now the reciever works just fine if it is plugged into one of the USB 3.0 ports of the Y580. But if I plug the Unifying reciever into the USB 2.0 port by the charging port, Windows 7 does not detect that any device has been connected, and I cannot find a way to force Windows to detect it either. The USB 2.0 port works fine with my flash drives. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and hopefully a way to fix it. I reinstalled Windows and the problem is still there. Logitech has been unable to help me and I am beginning to think this is a hardware issue with my laptop.

I am using Logitech wireless reciever for my M515 mouse for sometimes now. Work fine. Using together now with both the Logitech K270 keyboard and mouse together in any of the USB ports.
