    Hi i have u430 and everything is perfect BUT...
    When im charging my laptop its ok,when im running on battery its ok but when i have capped 60% thru lenovo energy managment and adapter is plugged in it makes little buzz sound...i dont know how to describe its nothing major but im curious what is that because i already read about it on forum(maybe here) but i cant find that post.

    i just notice that when i have 100% birgthness there is no sound...but when i put it little down i can hear it...

    bump.......Also the sound is probably from left side of the notebook.

    You might consider putting this in the Ideapad section rather than the Thinkpad section

    Sounds like it could be the inverter, not sure if this is a normal noise for this model or not, but if it's abnormal, I'd swap out the inverter.
