That's your opinion. You also never answered my questions. If you're going to walk into in here and call people thieves, that's probably not a good way to ingratiate yourself to others and you should at least back it up. Honestly, if you feel that aggrieved or suspect someone's copyright has been misappropriated, then use the report a post tool. That's why it's there. Otherwise you can take this up with Chaz or the Administrators of this forums as you see fit.

I think using the report button to report a mod, is about as effective as reporting a police officer to their precinct. :p

Ha, you seriously want people to check where every single image they get off the internet is from? If an artist does not want their worked used for things like desktop backgrounds then uploading it to the internet is not a good idea.

haha... well if the Artist was worried (or cared worth a lick) about "theft", then they wouldn't have posted it online (Or at least would have put a BIG "copyright of bla blah DO NOT USE WITHOUT PERMISSION!!" watermark right smack in the middle of it)
Honestly if you release something you created to the world (at least a fully usable version of it) then you already know all the possible implications of doing so (or you should be hit over the head with a stick if you are complaining about this common sense stuff... hang on a sec. stay right there let me get my stick :) )
Also, let me ask you; what is the point of art if it is not to be shared and admired? (or has capitalism truly taken over the hearts of today's so called "artists"?)

Well back to the original topic...

I was actually looking at replacing the screen in my Tm2 with a screen from one of the other tablets out there (one with a with a good Hydis screen) But I found pictures of the screen connectors and other parts, I ended up coming to the conclusion that I didn't care enough to get different connector types to work (and for the Tm2 to recognize the display correctly... too many pins)

That is awesome you guys got it working in regular laptops; but it is really too bad companies don't have the option for the kind of really good screen users would like to have in their computers (especially those over $500) IMO they don't listen (The Tm2 could be a really amazing Ultra portable Tablet PC if it had the option for a great screen, for those that would want it)

PS: US laws??? oh, those... lol, I haven't heard a joke that funny for months, thank you my friend
PPS: If you want to protest something why don't you at least sign a few petitions that contribute to stopping genocide in countries all around the world. And if you are already doing that, why don't you spend more time worrying about human lives than complaining about a few MB's of data (just a thought)
EDIT: sorry about that I checked the file, its size is in the KB, not MB

Ok, we've all had our fun and I think everyone has had an opportunity to state their position. We don't have to agree, and obviously we don't. That doesn't mean any of us are right or wrong.

Coming from a family with artists and many friends who are dancers, painters, or musicians I see the effects of the internet on some of them and their ability to make a living without having to take a second job they hate.

Because I am in the tech industry, I try to be an advocate for their rights. Someone has to.

I'll shut up now on this topic. :D
