I have a TP 61, XP, 2G ram (non-tubro), NVIDIA card. And lately, every time I shuttown, I get an error message (memory could not be written or something like that) and jitter.exe application closes.

By searching the web for jitter.exe I found that it's part of windows programs. How do I fix this application? Can I remove it?

JITTER.EXE is definitely not a Windows program! A windows program is one that comes with the operating system and is distributed by Microsoft. This program is not one of them. What is the location of this executable? It was obviously installed as part of some other software. Are you able to provide any more information?

    **** UPDATE ****
Look for some application that was installed for Test & Measurement, or for real time hypervisor kind of software. If you give me the location of this file on your hard-disk, I might be able to help...This program is most likely by a company called TenAsys...

Actually, it's JITTR.exe without the 'e'. Sorry for the typo. It's located in
    C :program files/jittr
