    Just Ordered my new T60 from Lenovo - RAM SUGGESTIONS?

    Got the t60 WS with only 512 Ram.

    What do you guys think? Will this be compatible with the 512 Ram i am getting? if not, maybe i will just throw away the 512 and stick in these 2 GB.

    The memory will indeed be compatible with your computer. You will need to get rid of the 1x512 sodimm module in order to use the 2x1GB as the t60 has only 2 RAM slots.

    forgot to mention that i ordered it with a 9 cell and tried to change it 2 days later to 6 cell(because i dont like how it protrudes)- was told sorry no can do because the order was already confirmed, responded back that that was really lame and was told that it was already built and ready to ship (really gay considering that the battery isn't even attached to the computer and really really gay considering that my shipdate is still something like april 3).

    That is really lame, they can't change the battery despite not shipping for a month??? Pretty weak imo
