This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Ordered from Insight Direct, Inc. Delivered in 5 days. No problems. No dark lower corners on display. No squeaky Palm Rests. I did call IBM once regarding the Wi-Fi. It seemed to turn off for no reason after a few minutes. IBM Tech asked if I had turned it on via the small icon on the systray or via Fn+F5 (I used the icon). He had me turn it on using the Fn key and after that it never dropped off again. Paid $2700. I love it! Sorry I sound like I'm ranting, but I've been up most of the night playing with it :)
