    15.4" LED, intel core2duo T6570 2.1ghz, vista home basic, nvidia G104M 256mb dedicated video dx10 shader 4.0, 3gb ddr2-667 ram, 250gb 5400rpm hd, wifi b/g, 6 cell, 90w ac adapter

What can I realistically expect from this laptop?
    Is gaming a possibility?
    The bad?
    The good?
    The meh?

    Thnx~

For one, the SL series aren't true ThinkPads - their case is built like a consumer notebook - ie. no roll cage, etc. So don't expect it toi be sturdy.

    Light gaming, yeah.

But it has Home Basic which isn't that great of a deal...

I'd hardly say it's going to fall apart. As always with durability luck plays a big role.

I phrased myself wrong. I meant 'not as sturdy as a T-series, for example'.

But I've seen some SL500s that have seen rather light punishment and it's not a pretty thing.

Ya, the only games I'm probably going to be play are CS 1.6 and SC2 when it comes out hopefully
This comp is to fill my needs in Uni. Essays, notes and all that jazz
    Will L4D work on this?

You're better off asking this question in the gaming forums.

After 2 weeks of shipping, i just found out delivery is going to be delayed?
    Isn't this kind of outrageous?
2weeks of shipping and still delayed?!
    Is this normal?!

    Historically, two weeks ain't bad.
