    Hi,

Just got a T61. Noticed some quirks. The green LED light of the battery indicator leaks over to the power indicator on its left (the circle with a z). The leak is not bright but the even when powered down and with just the AC on I can see that the power indicator is dimly lit due to the light leak from the adjacent battery LED. Is this normal? Anyway to solve it?

Another thing is that the lock switch for the battery is loose.

The light strip isnt seated right is what it sounds like to me. To fix it you would have to take the bezel off and reseat it.

BTW the LEDs under the indicator icons are roughly centred. I can tell cause when the lights are on, the region of highest intensity is at the centre.

The LED of the battery indicator is offset to the left but I know that's normal cause there are two LEDs under the battery indicator, 1 green and 1 orange.

The bezel? What is that? Do u mean the indicator clear plate sticker? Or the entire screen bezel?

Anyhow I dun think it's the light strip. If it were not seated right, all the lights would be either skewed left or right, but it's not. Could it be a problem with the indicator clear plate itself? I've noticed that the regions where light is supposed to come through are not clear but painted to become translucent. Could it be that the power icon is not translucent enough and allows too much light through?
