    Hey guys!

Just got my Y470 from our friends in China, and i had a couple of questions i'm looking for help with.

    1. Im looking to do a fresh windows install to remove bloatware, what have you guys done, have you just removed it and run with the factory install? Is anything worth keeping? How would you recommend i go about it?

    2. I recall reading about people doing certain changes to the panel to improve its quality, messing with some settings, if anyone could give me some tips or idea as to what should be done, I'd be much obliged.

    Thanks guys,
    Req

yeah i would like to know that too. i just got mine couple days ago. one thing i'm most likely keeping is the power manager programs. helps with keeping your battery last as long as possible when plugged in.

u have to slide the little "silver button" in the front of the laptop, to the right and a led turns on when the gpu is on, and the a notification will pop up on the screen saying that the gpu is optimized for power or something)...
