The volume display (that pops up at the bottom of the screen) keeps popping up for no reason. Any idea why or what I can do to fix it?

Also, the laptop seems to randomly select stuff as if I had left-clicked. I'm not sure if this is my fault though, because maybe when I move the mouse around I rest my thumb on the button to heavily.

EDIT: I have XP Pro by the way.

Adjust the touchpad, tapping & palm weight? function. I had the same issue when I got my R61. I assume you are using XPPro.

The real way to see if it's you is to leave it a alone and see if anything changes.

If I don't touch it the volume display pops up anyway every few seconds.

I only had the R61 for 1 day so bear with me...Its under the ThinkVantage.....where all of the system utilities pop up on one screen...

    Adjust the touchpad/buttom properties.
