    Just how long does the T520 with the FHD screen take to ship??

    Hello, I've ordered the T420 a few weeks ago on a Thursday and noticed it shipped on Monday and it arrived at my doorstep on Thursday morning.

    I ordered the T520 with the FHD screen on last Thursday and it still hasnt shipped. I was expecting it to ship at least today (Tuesday) but still no word. Is it because the T520 with the FHD screen is more popular??

    Even if I get the shipping notification tomorrow (Wednesday) it'll take 1 day for them to really ship it from what I've noticed so it looks like I'll get it sometime next week. Man I was so sure that I would have it by the end of this week too. :(

    Well mine got to me in less than a week. And FHD doesn't have much to do with the construction assembly line of these computers. they are built from scratch on the spot. I talkde to a sales rep and he told me to enter in his 3 character code so that he configure the order to help get the pc to me sooner. I don't what he did, he may have punched the credit # into their system faster than it usually takes to process the order faster so it can be built and shipped sooner. but all i know is that whatever he did it worked. just call a sales rep and ask him about your order by giving him your order #. BTW what cpu did you get (its random, i know)?

    It could really be any part that is delaying your order from shipping--the FHD screen, which seems to be in high demand, could be part of the reason. You can call in and ask, but there's no guarantee the rep will be able to give you accurate or useful information.

    I called on Monday afternoon to check but all they told me that its in process..

    I'm so eager to see the FHD screen!

    if you ordered 2-3 day shipping and if you get the confirmation shipment emailed to you early thursday then there's a high chance it will arrive to you on friday.

    I only did the standard UPS ground shipping since when I ordered the T420 it took 3 days to get to me.

    If it shipped today, I could have gotten it Friday..
