This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     with only 512mb ram on this machine, i am really impressed with how fast this thing runs. i am still downloading/installing drivers right now but still, this thing boots quickly, loads the desktop quickly, etc.

    i was about to sell this machine but now, seeing how it's running, i may just keep it.. maybe i'll get another gig of ram for it :D

    I have installed most drivers but still have a couple in device manager that show up with exclamation marks --

    one is an 'unknown device'

    the other is a network controller which i am sure is the wireles.. i've tried all the drivers on the website and none of them worked!

    any suggestions?

    Unknown device should be the Thinkpad Power Management Driver.
