    I'm very happy with the LG screen i have on the first one.

    Anyone get a recent T61 with samsung WSXGA+ screen ? how does it compare to the LG?

    The Lg/phillips screen is a lot better than the samsung one.

    how do you know which screen it comes with before receiving it?

    you punch in the serial and type in the warrenty screen and then select to see the parts.

    How do you know the LG screen is better than Samsung? I heard the Samsung was brighter.

    Good question. It doesn't seem to mention any external calibration tool, so I assume it's all done by software. He has the nVidia video card so I assume he configured it through the nVidia Control Panel.

    and i found about a paid software that called HueyPro.

    Usefull is also the site you gave.
