    The display type options were:
    14.1" WXGA TFT
    14.1 WXGA TFT w/LED BL [$0.00]

I chose the latter w/LED BL of course, but my friend told me that those panels are from Chi mei, whereas the former one is from Samsung. Is this true? If so, is it still possible for me to change my order even though it just got processed?

    Thanks.

I'd stick with LED here. You got the upgrade for free!

Same here. LED should be better irespective of the manufacturer.

I bought a T400 with the WXGA screen recently, and it was a LG screen. I may be wrong but I think the thinkwiki lists LG as the sole manufacturer for the regular LED WXGA. The high-nit LED WXGA screen is manufactured by the Samsung.

I think you took advantage of one of those typos Lenovo makes on its websites sometimes... Good for you. :)

Well hopefully its not them trying to clear out some cheap panels by disgusing them :p
