I just ordered an X60s through a reseller, I tried to buy a T61 but the delays and service made me change my mind. Hopefully it will get here with the next week or so. I am really looking forward to using it and it's nice battery life. Thanks skibunny, your comments and stuff have really helped.

One question, I know the X60 and the X60s are very similar, I want to buy more ram is there any issues with certain brands or anything like that? I know it's PC5300 so I'm thinking of just picking up one or 2 from newegg, they have a bunch for like 35-50 bucks.

    Shouldn't be any problems.

Thanks Zaz, I'm just asking because the last desktop I built I used an Asus motherboard and OCZ ram thinking everything would be fine, they are two big brand companies. But for some reason the Asus motherboard would not boot with the OCZ RAM unless you flashed the bios to a beta bios they created a couple of days after the problem was discovered. So I had to buy a stick of RAM that would work so I could get into the bios and eventually flash it. I'm probably going to order a 2GB stick to make this thing run nice and fast.

I think the chance it won't work, though a possibility, is small.

in theory it should be fine, but i've heard reports from thinkpad ownsers before that "cheap" ram didn't work, i dont know why LOL

I got cheap ram and once it worked and once it didn't, go figure...
