    Just ordered my 14" T61. Shipping date August 30th?!

    Is this normal? Am I going to get a free 6 cell battery or something? By the time I get my T61 it will already be outdated. Is this T61 really that great?

    The shipping dates are a bug in the Lenovo system that has existed since the T61 was released. Like many people already, you'll get your system in 2 weeks tops.

    I ordered mine on june 30 and got an august 23rd ship date. I was told its the 160 gb hd so I just changed it to a 60 gb to speed it up.

    I ordered mine on 6/22/07 and received it on 7/5/07. It was a very pleasant surprise considering the shipping date they gave me was 7 weeks away from the date of purchase.
