Just returned my 2373JXU. The screen 15-SXGA is big, bright and sharp. Much better than my 14-XGA. Feels good/solid. One friend said "it 's a very beautiful piece of equipment".

I paid more than 2000$ to get it and another 20 $ for shipping it back. Kind of bad to return it for only three bad pixels(not noticeable w/o intentionally looking for them).I am planning to get a similar one with the fingerprint reader.

BTW. I noticed ghosting when playing action movies. It's fine for me. I am not going to use it for movie. 50$ DVD player+TV is much better than any PC for DVD.

Unfortunately a lot of people have noticed and complained about ghosting on the 15" screen of the T42, it wasn't an issue for me either, but for some it's a real annoyance.

Good that it seems you are happy with your laptop choice even though you have to return it due to dead pixels, the biometric fingerprint reader is a nice feature so paying an extra $50 is worth it. You might consider waiting for a week or two to see if the T43 is a better option for you.
