    Hello,

I have an X1 and I configured the ThinkPad Internet Connection tool with a location profile that is triggered by the ethernet connection at my workplace. However, this profile seems to repeatedly switch off my WiFi, which I do not want.
I have already deselected the "Allow wireless radios to be turned off when inactive" in Tools/Global Settings, but nothing changes.
Also I have disallowed the Wifi nic to be switched off to safe energy (in NIC settings, Power management tab).

    Any ideas?

You could always uninstall the Thinkvantage Connections software and just let Windows 7 handle it.
