So to cut a long story short, my dog ran over my keyboard and broke a bunch of keys off. I managed to get them all back on, but The little clip that holds the caps lock key on has snapped so the key wont go on properly. Will I be able to get the KB replaced for free or will I have to buy a new one?

Technically you could get one for free, but I dont know if I would do that if it wasn't a factory defect. The keyboards can be found on ebay for like 30-40 bucks, no need to lie to Lenovo to get a replacement.

Yeah, my thoughts as well -- if you had Accident protection it would be covered, but a dog running over your system is hardly a manufacturing defect. They aren't advertised as dog-proof. ;)

Yeah like Lew said it depends what warranty you have. If you have accidental protection you should be able to get it replaced if you tell them what happened. Otherwise just buy a new one like Kevin suggested.

Off topic...What kind of dog was it?

hmm ok, well it was worth a try.

Where can I buy one in the UK? I tried ebay and all I got was a US keyboard, and searching on google only gave me a US/Canadian website..
