    Kindly, help me about the following issue;
    1. I have a laptop, Lenovo, IdeaPad Y570.
    2. It came with Windows 7 Home Premium, but I backed it up and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
    3. My model supports Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0, however, it boots in 65 - 70 seconds, shuts down in 15-20 seconds.
    4. I ran a virus scan, spyware ... etc, tweaked startup programs (msconfig), no difference.
    5. My Specifications are;
    * Intel 2nd generation core i7, 2670QM 2.2GHz, 6MB cache.
    * 8 GB RAM, 1333 bus.
    * Nvidia GeForce GT555M (2 GB Dedicated video Memory).
    5. There is another problem with the graphics, however, I'll postpone it till I solve this one first.
    Thanks in advance for your time and effort, your help is deeply appreciated.

    It does actually heat up almost all the time, even when I'm switching off the graphics, and just working on word and browsing, it reaches as high as 70 degree Celsius, especially while I'm playing any games.

    70 is perfectly fine!

    The i7 can run upto 100C just fine and it was designed to run under extreme conidtions

    I say anything below 85C is perfectly fine for this CPU

    I don't have an SSD drive, however, it should boot up as minimum as 25 seconds even if it doesn't contain an SSD. The second problem is that while playing any game, the game lags (Stops and goes) till finally it crashes to desktop, beside that the laptop heats up so much that it some times shuts down by its own.

    return your laptop to the service center, that is not normal

    and the lag issue is fixed with the latest BIOS in the guide I posted above + you need to install the nvIDIA driver v296.10 (also located in the guide above)
