Hi there, I am going to update a Z60t PM 2.0G module which has a FSB upto 533.

Looks like HyperX KHX5300S2LLK2/2G module from Kingston with a CL4 could be possible runing in the laptop I mentioned in a speed of DDR2-533 CL3. As there is not so much more to spend than a regular Valueram, even with only a slightly performance improvement I am happy to spend that extra. But at least I need know for sure that it is compatable for that laptop. But even Kingston's technical suppor people wouldn't give me any guarntee that it will be compatable with that Thinkpad model.

Anyone have tried that yet or know any reasons that it maybe not working with that laptop?

PS: I know that there is a recommand model for Z60t from Kingston, but as I said, I want as much as performance gain at an reasonable price I can pay and I am even considering for a OverClocking.

Thanks for the link, but I couldn't find a comparable model for a kingston HyperX, I am interesting on that model as it could provide a little performance improvement. But I coudn't understand why even their own staff wouldn't guarantee it will working on my laptop, so strange...
