    Hi,

I am a student. I am planning to buy an L440 on account of the current discounts. I have some questions which I was hoping to find answers to on this forum.

    1. The battery life is specified as 12 hours with the 56Whr cylindrical battery. Is this a large battery that protrudes out from the body of the laptop? Does someone have an idea what the battery life is with a normal 48Whr battery?
    2. I am not sure which processor to buy. i5-4200m or i5-4330m. Is the £150 difference worth it? Is the difference in speed really noticeable?
    3. I will be installing Debian linux on the laptop on dualboot with the installed Windows 8. Probably as soon as I can. Does someone know if the NGFF SSD works with Debian?

Hope the experienced forum members can help me out. Cheers!
