    Hi.
This may be a dumb question but I've looked at repair manuals, etc. and can't
seem to find the answer...I just got a refurbished Thinkpad T21 and I've had a problem with
    the screen blanking out. But
when I press the unmarked black button just above the "Insert" key and just
below the battery gauge the screen comes on and everything seems to work fine. I
originally assumed that button was just supposed to "wake" the computer when I
open the case-- is it some kind of reload button? I'm running XP on the laptop--
could my screen problem have to do with the refresh rate problem? (I tried the F7/external
monitor switch and it doesn't help-- but that black button seems to work
    everytime!).

Thanks to anyone who can help!
