    check the discontinued PSREF sheets.

    http://lenovo.com/psref/

    7449-9FU, SL9400 1.86, 2GB, 12.1" WXGA, 160G, 5400, DVD±RW UltraBase, Intel 5100, WWAN upg, 4-cell, XP Tab, Oct 08

    12.1" (308mm) WXGA (1280x800) TFT color, anti-glare, CCFL backlight,
190 nits, 16:10 aspect ratio, 500:1 contrast ratio, FFS, frameless screen

7449-9EU has a 190-nit CCFL AFFS+ display.   it is not the outdoor display.

What is the difference between Intel X4500HD and Intel 4500MHD. Because when I use lenovo product information and lookup for "7449-9EU", the description I receive is Intel X4500HD but in discontinued PSREF sheet its says Intel 4500MHD.

    X4500HD (which is a desktop GPU) is a typo.   it's an X4500MHD.
