I have a quick question: is the WXGA LED backlit screen on the T500 anti-glare/matte or is it glossy?

    Thanks in advance!

It is matte, just like the screens of all other true Thinkpads.

Actually, the R61i was offered with a glossy screen. I got to write the review for the N100 for NBR. It had a very nice glossy WSXGA+ lCD, which I thought would have been a nice addition to the R61, but what do I know after having spent so much time with Lenovo customers?
