All new Lenovo IdeaPad Y530 models include an LED-backlit display, correct?

What about the 14.1" IdeaPad Y430? There's NO information on the Lenovo site about this model, but it's being sold by Circuit City, J&R Computers and various other retailers. Does it have an LED display, too?

I'm wondering if/when Lenovo might start selling the Y430 directly, like all other IdeaPad models???

the new model from circuit city Y430-5342U contains new upgrades on the ram from DDR2 to 4gb DDR3. It also has the new WLED screen frrom the WXGA screen. this is a huge plus at a great value. It runs on windows home vista 64bit, with a new T6400 processor that contains the new SSE4.3 Extensions. I got it for $612 out the door. It was on sale for $679.00 but with the 10% liquidation sale on laptops it was 612. cheapest laptop with dd3.

Hey nxh, do you have to pull the optical drive tray out manually after you press eject to get it all the way out? I just got a Y430 as well from CC.

I'm reviving this question now that Lenovo has several new configurations/model numbers of the Y430 available

I know there were a few Y530 models that had DDR2-667 memory and CCFL displays (oddly, those few models also had the nVIDIA 9300M dedicated graphics card). Since all of the Y430 models shown have DDR3, would that also indicate that they have LED-backlit displays?

The spec sheet download for the Y-series isn't up to date.....
