    Hello,

I have a Y570 that I bought about a year ago and am running WIndows 7x64.

Last night I decided to run some maintenance programs for the heck of it. My notebook was running fine, I just had some time on my hands.

I ran CC cleaner. Everything was fine. Then I ran Spybot Search and Destroy. All good after that too.

Then I opened Auslogics disk defrag and started to defrag my C drive. It stopped after a few minutes and a red message appeared in the program saying that "Disk errors ,defrag could not continue. Please check disk and repair" or something like that.

So I right clicked the disk (in the Auslogics disk defrag program) > check disk. It went into DOS and said there was some error, would I like to repair at next start up , press Y/N. I clicked Y and restarted.

The disk check ran its course and I logged into windows , but I noticed that my notebook freezes intermittently, media wont play properly, and it takes FOREVER to shut down.

I play a ton of games and have put that Y570 to some serious use since last year. I play Battlefield 3 religiously, and last night when I tried to connect I got the error message " Could not communicate with running game. Please make sure it was not launched outside of the web"

So something is definately messed up with my laptop.

Im a bit of a computer noob, so if you can help please pretend I am a 10 year old ;) I am at work now so I cant check anything specifically, but I will as soon as im home today.

Help me notebook review, you`re my only hope!
