This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Amazing deal, these go close to another zero at the end... if you ever find one. Too bad that Lenovo crippled the hell out of this machine :( Anyway, enjoy your new toy :)

    The W700DS came with an option for an extra screen that pulls out from the main panel. I'm not sure about the one on the left.

    The one on the left is the Asus MB169b+ portable monitor.

    Lenovo says that the attached secondary monitor will not work if an external monitor is attached, I haven't got a chance to test that out yet, but as you can see, with an USB based external monitor, it is not an issue.
