Hey guys, i have an x41 tablet and ordered the tablet case with it, however, the tablet case is that ibm makes for this machine is horribly tight and unpractical. there is also little protection at all.
What portable cases do you guys use or recommend for an x41 tablet machine?

It depends on how your goinna be carrying the laptop. I use a sumdex notebook sleeve in case i ever need to carry the laptop in a briefcase or by the handle on the sleeve for a short distance.

If i'm goinna be carrying my notebook in a backpack I use a tombihn monolith sleeve. Its got padding and hard plastic reinforcment. It'd be a little bulky for a briefcase but it gives the needed protection for carrying it in a backpack. I also use Tom Bihns BrainBag backpack.

I have an ibm X40 with the extended battery, the size five monolith, and the 12" sumdex both fit perfectly. -
have any of you seen/used hte leather ibm ultraportable carrying case? the one that's only 1 kilo. how is that one?

I haven't used the ibm ultraportable case, I'm also a big fan of Tom Bihn sleeves and bags and endorse the sleeve that gmoney mentions above.
