Folks need your expert assistance, my laptop always freeze when I accidentally shakes my laptop (eg. move it to a 1 cm to the left). Any ideas why?

Which Thinkvantage programs do you have installed? If you have Active System Protection installed, check the settings to see the sensitivity and try turning them down.

I just got a Samsung solid state hard drive a few days ago (SLC type), and I am thoroughly happy with it thus far. Now, any movement or vibration is completely NON-issue. Speed is much increased as well. I'm very happy I did the upgrade. And it cost only $200. If you were to decide to get this type of hard drive to upgrade for yours though, I would stay away from the MLC types though. SLC are the best ones to get in my personal opinion. But if movement is causing problems, this would be one cure for it. Now, I just use my original 200GB hard drive in the aux UltraBay Slim slot with a second hard drive caddy and just use it for bulk storage, but the OS itself is on the SSD drive which is 64GB. I was able to get my Vista install down to 21.5GB so I have plenty of free space even on that, but large stuff like HD TV shows I've recorded off my home server get stored on the rotary aux HDD in the other bay (which I pop out most the time when I want to save electricity).

hmm i've just upgrade my HDD to 500 GB by Seagate. Can't be bother to move the drives around. But now you said regarding the ultrabay with HDD port. Not a bad idea actually.
