I was setting up a HP Pavilion dv1000 at work (pos but thats aside the point) and it had a remote control that fit in the express card slot. I was wondering if anyone knew something like that that would work with my Thinkpad T43.

    I found this:

But it requires a USB dongle. Anyone know anything that might work with the IR port or something internal?

    Thanks

The one I have also needs an USB dongle. It is obviously the easiest way for them. It works on other machines too. And desktops.

    Cheers,
