    Laptop kept on going into sleep under Windows 8

    I'm using a Thinkpad S230U convertible tablet right now and I use it via wireless keyboard/mouse while it's hooked up to an external monitor with the lid closed. The computer will go into sleep for every minute of inactivity and I'll have to wake it up by moving the mouse or press any key on the keyboard. I have changed the settings in power options for sleep as well as display but it's still doing that. Any ideas?
