I was just getting ready to order a large monitor... and then it dawned on me that I should find out what the largest resolution the quadro 570M will support?

Will it support 1920 by whatever?

well, since the fx 570m is basicly a 8600mgt, it will support the same resolutions as the 8600m gt does :

Dual-link DVI outputs for digital flat panel display resolutions up to 2560x1600
Dual integrated 400MHz RAMDACs for analog display resolutions up to and including 2048x1536 at 85Hz

i run my T61p on my external monitor at 1920 x 1200 so you should have no problems doing so.
