Hey everyone, i have one concern left before buying the T520.

I decided to get the HD+ screen, the only issue is the LCD TV i have is only HD resolution (1368x768) and i rely on my laptop as my full time TV/movie source, so is it going to be a problem with downscaling to match the TV size?

(note the tv is hdmi not display port, will get an adapter for that)

Thank you very much in advance

They are two completely separate things. No, it will not have any problems. However, depending on which mode you are running it in (mirror or extended), your laptop's display may look pixelated as it has to change its resolution in mirror mode to match that of the TV.

Make sure to read the threads on those adapters. People have posted several low cost ones that work on the new series of thinkpads (i.e. support audio), I would recommend going with one of those.
