    How long has it been since the T400 got a refresh?

    Specificly has the ATI Mobility Radeon 3470 with 256MB ever changed?

    Is there any ATI card in the pipe that might be a change?

    it was pretty recent... couple months, I think the next refresh will be in about 1 year

    The T400 is a brand new line. Went on sale on August 5th. Prior to that the T61 was the most update T series. The T series only gets refreshed whenever a new chipset is released.

    The refresh was pretty recent. If you need a notebook now, get one. If you're going to have the mentality of waiting until something new to come out, you're never going to get a laptop.

    Not only did the T400 go on sale on 8/5, but none of them shipped until late August. It's just over a month old.
