Right now stuck between two T61's...both $1399 CDN.

    1) 15.4" with Intel GMA X3100 graphics
    2) 14.1" with nVidia Quadro NVS 140M graphics

Basically, if I was a gamer or used graphic intense programs, I would go for the Quadro definitely. But, since I only play Warcraft 3 that my Celeron can handle fine, I am in a little bit of a pickle.

Heat is a big concern for me, and I was wondering if the Quadro produces a significant amount of heat that would bother me. I'm extremely sensitive to the palm rest areas/keyboard, and was wondering if taking the Quadro would affect the palm rest areas. If not, then I'd probably go with the Quadro, since having a more powerful graphics card couldn't hurt =P.

Also, the Quadro T61 comes with turbo memory, in case that could help me decide too (turbo memory causing extra problems?).

    Thanks

in your shoes I would get the quadro system. the nvidia card will produce a bit more heat but it is nothing too crazy. Heat is not noticeable in the wrist rest area.
