Intel's latest Matrix Storage Manager driver v8.9.0.1023 deletes the Intel Turbo Memory from the Start > Programs menu.

This must be a bug in Intel's latest Matrix Storage Manager driver.

About a week ago I installed the driver. Today I noticed Intel Turbo Memory was missing from the Programs menu.

I reinstalled the Intel Turbo Memory by launching the setup.exe file located in the C:\DRIVERS\VISTA\Turbomem folder. This is the original version that came preinstalled on my computer.
Running the setup.exe file restored the Intel Turbo Memory to the Programs menu.

I then reinstalled the latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver v8.9.0.1023, and once again, it deleted the Intel Turbo Memory from the Start>Programs menu.

After further testing, it looks like the Intel Turbo Memory is still running with the new 8.9.0.1023 driver.
Even though Intel Turbo Memory is no longer in the Program menu, the Shellex.exe is the exe file that launches the shell and it is still on my machine.
I placed the Shellexe.exe, located here C:\Program Files\Intel\Intel Matrix Storage Manager\Extn\ShellEx.exe, on my desktop and I can start the console this way.

Today I sent an email to Intel's tech support letting them know of this bug.
