This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    If you are an RSS junkie like I am, you'd probably love to get informed of the latest available downloads for your Thinkpad via RSS. So I just hacked a little tool which allows you get your personal RSS feed tracking the latest downloads from Lenovo for your Thinkpad model.

    It's really easy to use, all you have to do is go to:
    http://tools.4dots.com/thinkpad/

    ... and enter your Thinkpad product number. The resulting URL is your feed that you can use in any RSS 2.0-compatible feed reader.
