    Hello,

I am looking into getting a Thinkpad T60 in Canada, but when I go to the Lenovo's Canada website, I find that quite a few of the models available in the US site are not shown on the Canada site. I am interested in a machine configured similarly to the T60p (2007-93U, marked as "G" on TaBook), but it's just nowhere to be found on the Canada site. I see that all the configurations are listed in the TaBook, but do these setups apply to Canad a too? Am I able to just call in and order a custom made one similar to the T60p?

Please share your expertise, thanks for your help.

Most of the T60 configs, even those listed on Lenovo's site, aren't available here. I think it's just taking a very long time for them to get to market.

I contacted Lenovo about this and they said more T60 models will be available later this month.

canada totally gets the shaft when it comes to things like this.
HPShopping canada does not allow any kind of customization, and the prices are higher than the US counterpart.
i dont think Fijitsu canada allows customization either.
not to mention the Dell ecodes for the US site are way better than the ones for canada...
    yup..we get the shaft.
