    I recently placed an order for a T500, it's showing a ship date of 02/01/09 ... that's very fast ...

    Is Lenovo accurate with their estimated ship dates or am I likely getting my hopes up for nothing and can expect it 3-4 weeks ?

    They are pretty accurate. If you're lucky, and your address is verified already by your CC company, then you might even get it a day or two early. However, it also depends on how much you customized the system.

    I ordered a X300 on 01/07/2009, shipped on 1/12/09, arrived on 1/14
    Don't even give me a break to cancel it...

    if your system is common customized, you should receive it before the estimate ship day.
