"Lenovo will accept the return or exchange of any product in its original package for a full refund in cases of Lenovo error. Returns allowed for any other reason will be subject to a restocking fee equal to 15% of the purchase amount."

What would be considered a Lenovo Error ?

    Thanks

Lenovo sending you a DOA machine, a machine with different spec, or anything that is fault on Lenovo's part.

    Ok thanks for the reply.

I been searching and read that, for instance, receiving a item with different specs is not Lenovos fault. They have a "disclaimer" that they are not responsible for typographical errors and they also give you no details through email on the specs of what you actually ordered, for you to say you sent me the wrong specs.

And if its malfunctioning right when you get it, they will service it first. They will not replace it and if you return it will still pay the 15% fee.

I am not sure where you are reading this, but it is Lenovo's fault that they they send you a new machine, and you can ask for replacement. Only that you can't claim loss of time and revenue from Lenovo if they do ship you out a replacement machine to you.

Also, if it is a DOA, you can either choose to repair it or replace it or refund it, depending on the circumstance. It is just sometimes quicker and more convenient for some people to service it, rather than replace it with a new one, which will take however many weeks to be shipped from factory.

    Thanks.

It was a Outlet laptop. They emailed and said they will offer a full refund.
