So I've narrowed down my notebook choices down to these Lenovo products but now I'm not certain if the price justifies the product. I was so close to ordering a T61 about an hour ago but chickened out. Is paying $1399+tax worth it in the long run?
I have about 6 more months of school left so I might just settle for a Dell 1420 but these three notebooks keep drawing me back to Lenovo. I'll be using the notebook around campus (for studying) and hopefully last me at least 2-3 years. I would like a notebook that is mobile and something around a 12"-14" inch notebook.

I think the R61 is the best option better specs then the T61 and cheaper you really cannot go wrong with that.
