Purchased new 3000 C200 8922-2FU 3 weeks ago...this AM, laptop will not powerup, no response when pushing "power on" button. Same lack of response when plugged into adaptor or when on battery....no response from power up button. Any one have same issue? Path to resolution? Thanks.

When you plug your power Adapter in, does any lights come on indicating that it recognizes the power / charging the battery? If not, most likely you have a dead power adapter and your battery is dead (it can't get charged) (hence you can't turn on your laptop)
If you do, then there is most likely a hardware issue and you need to contact IBM or where you purchased the laptop -

    I have the same problem.

Will not power-up. No lights come on indicating that it recognizes the power. Swapped power adapters with a guy here at work with the same model - no power. Swapped batter pack - no power.

    Anyone with a solution?

so the battery light on the front doesnt turn orange or green or flash? Have you called tech support? You need to get an RMA! I dont think you have an FRU solvable problem.
