So I bought this machine Thanksgiving of last year without a single problem at all. All of a sudden my battery appears dead. When I plug the machine into an outlet I am running on AC power and the battery will not charge. When I click on the battery icon to determine life, it was a red "X" across it indicating it is not working. Is there anything I can do or try in lieu of replacing the battery? If I do need to replace it, should expect this problem with this machine and battery? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Perhaps the battery is defective, but batteries start to decline as soon as they're made. I would get it replaced that's what the warranty is for.
