This is for Lenovo 3000 N100 owners. What is your Avg. battery life on the standard 6 cell batt? I am gettng about 2 hours with the screen at almost max brightness and wi-fi on. The web site says 3 1/2 hours.

Want to know if I have an issue with the machine/batt or or is the 3 1/2 hours unrealistic!

With the six cell I would get about 2.5 hours. With the nine cell I would get almost 4 hours.

Your computer is ok its just the way your running the computer. If your running on batteries, and your display is constanly lit, then the less time you will hava available on your battery. The same goes for WIFI and Bluetooth. If you don't need it, then turn it off.

You could always go to the Power Configuration page and adjust the notebook to a different power scheme.

    Good luck!

The screen is a big power taker on any laptop. To get to the claimed battery run times you have to turn off wirless and turn the screen brightness all the way down. The screen brightness is the biggest reason you are only seeing 2 hours.
