What are everyones thoughts on this specific computer, it seems to suit my needs well. No gaming, mainly word processing, and basic things, a little movie viewing, music listening. Business Laptop.

Does the movie need to be DVD? Can it be an external DVD for infrequent use? I'm a much bigger fan of Thinkpads and specifically the X series for mobility. However, I've heard good things about the V100 and it would do those things admirably, plus it's a bit cheaper. Mull over these:
V100:

There are better options, the camera is the standout feature that's better than other laptops, but that's not a core feature. Read the review and you'll see my complaints about the v100.

The T60 is pretty sweet.

what are the better options?

Cons
* Design is ho-hum and not as exciting as some other competing 12.1" notebooks
* Touchpad is poor and mouse buttons are awful
* Provided BisonCap web camera software is clunky at best, borderline unusable
* Not as rugged or well built as the ThinkPad X60 cousin notebook
* Calling this an ultraportable is a stretch, it's about 4.4lbs and heavier than you might think with the 6-cell battery which is absolutely necessary to get 3 hours of battery life. Ultraportable means 1.0" thin and about 3 - 4lbs by most definitions.
I dont really need an exciting design
Can't i replace the software?
What about using a bluetooth mouse?
X60 is over my budget -
on second thought, i agree with you abaxter i shouldnt have to make compromises. ill look into the x60 and t60
i really do like the x60 and the t60.... what are the coredifferences between them?
